The Hiwasse Park was constructed in 2018. It features a large play structure with multiple slides, swings, and sit-on spring bounce toys. It is situated on a large, open 5-acre green space. A 1/4-mile looped concrete trail winds around the perimeter of the park. There is a large pavilion with picnic tables, handicap parking, and bathrooms. The pavilion is available for reservation at no charge, otherwise, it is available on on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Hiwasse Community Building was fully renovated in 2017-2018. It features a full kitchen, large meeting space, and bathroom. It is tastefully decorated with Hiwasse memorabilia, celebrating the town's rich history. This building is adjacent to the Hiwasse Park and is available for reservations.
