At 8:59 AM, local time when the first tower fell, the lights on all emergency vehicles will be turned on, the bagpiper will play Amazing Grace, and the Gravette Fire and Police Departments will stand at attention for 3 minutes and 43 seconds to honor the 343 firefighters of the New York City Fire Department who were killed in the September 11 attacks.

The ceremony is expected to last 15 minutes and will be live streamed on the Gravette Fire Department Facebook page. The public is encouraged to watch the live stream. Those choosing to watch the ceremony in person should adhere to guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health. This is the second year for the event.
