Code Enforcement Awareness Week
Code Enforcement Awareness Week will take place Monday, April 13 – Friday, April 17, 2020, in Gravette, Arkansas. This is the second year for the awareness event.
The purpose of Code Enforcement Awareness Week is to inform residents of common adopted city codes related to property maintenance and make them aware of the purpose of code enforcement, which is to keep Gravette safe, healthy, and sanitary while also preserving property values. Common code violations include overgrown grass and weeds, accumulation of debris and non-outdoor items in yards, poor exterior maintenance and upkeep, and storage of non-operable vehicles on residential property.
Gravette Building and Code Official, David Keck, says, “The goal of code enforcement awareness week is to give people the tools necessary to properly maintain their property. Together, we can all keep Gravette safe, healthy, and beautiful.”
The City will mark the week by posting common codes related to property maintenance every day on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
