Christmas Parade and Decorating Contest Scheduled
The City of Gravette will host its annual Christmas parade on Saturday, December 5, 2020, starting at 4:30 pm. Much like the Gravette Day parade, the Christmas parade will feature an extended route that will travel through several residential areas so that spectators can safely enjoy this beloved holiday tradition.
The theme for the 2020 parade is 'Merry and Bright' and parade participants are encouraged to decorate their entries to reflect the theme. There will be trophies awarded for the best use of lights, best use of the theme, and most festive. Winners will be announced on social media after the parade concludes. To sign up for the parade, please click HERE.
After a successful Gravette Day porch and door decorating contest, we are pleased to introduce a Christmas decorating contest. Contestants will be evaluated on their holiday spirit and have a change to win a first, second, or third place trophy. A map of the participants will be made available to the public so they can enjoy Gravette's holiday spirit. Entries will be judged after the Christmas parade on December 5 and winners will be announced via social media. To sign up for the decorating contest, please click HERE.
The museum open house will not take place this year due to COVID, but we are excited to bring back and even bigger and better open house in 2021.
