Pre-Incident Planning to Begin

Starting January 21, 2019, the Gravette Fire Department will begin conducting pre-incident planning with local businesses. This process allows the fire department to gain familiarity with the layout of the business and be more aware of any hazards that might be encountered should emergency response be needed in the future.

 

Pre-incident planning is important for business owners because these plans are factored into the fire department's ISO rating, which can affect insurance rates. It is important to note that this is NOT an inspection, but a plan of action should emergency response be needed. The fire department will contact business owners to set up a specific day and time.
