Gravette Adds New Sergeant and Promotes Detective
The City of Gravette is pleased to welcome Sergeant Chris Kelley and Detective Braxton Handle to the Gravette Police Department!
Sgt. Kelley previously worked at Benton County Sheriff's Office for almost 9 years. He started his career as a jailer and worked his way to patrol and narcotics investigation. For the past year he has been a Corporal in the patrol unit. GPD is excited to have someone with Chris's experience and caliber working for the department. He started with the City of Gravette on October 8.
Braxton Handle was recently promoted to the position of Detective. He has been with GPD for the past 7 years. He started as a part-time officer and was promoted to a full-time position in April 2012. He started as an animal control officer and later moved to patrol, where he has been a leader on his shift for the past 1 1/2 years. It is wonderful to have Detective Handle on board with GPD.
